Walk the Land

May, 22–26 2022!

Come to Israel show your friendship to the Jewish people

In times of crisis we witness the shouts of antisemites and antagonists hating Jews getting louder. Now more than ever, it is important to stand in friendship with Israel and the Jewish people.

The March of the Nations in Israel

The Bible speaks of a time when the nations will turn towards Israel again. Let us be the ones to follow God’s call: “Arise, walk the length and the breadth of the land, for I will give it to you”! (Genesis 13:17)

This is why we invite you to the March of the Nations from May 22 to 26, 2022: Hike the Israel National Trail (INT) from the north to the south of Israel, expressing solidarity with God’s people.

Recommended by National Geographic, the INT is more than a trail – it is well known throughout Israel, runs through a wide variety of regions and landscapes and has become a symbol of national identity. We want to stand with Israel in this very special way.

Encounters in Israel

We also want to take the message of friendship into the cities and to those people who live far off the tourist routes. Therefore we will gather in Metula (border to Libanon), Kfar Saba (Tel Aviv area, border to the West Bank), Netiv ha’asara (border to the Gaza Strip) and Tiberias (Lake Galilee) to finish the event together with residents and Holocaust survivors, as well as their descendents in the second and third generation, and have a public march with them.

We are grateful for the large number of supporters of the March of the Nations and for guests and speakers with Jewish and Christian background.

Together we invite you: come and join us at the March of the Nations 2022 in Israel.

The March of the Nations

In 4 cities in Israel – 4 hotspots – 4 Marches of the Nations. In Metula (border to Libanon), Kfar Saba (Tel Aviv area, border to the West Bank), Ofakim and Tiberias (Lake Galilee) on Thursday, May 26

From Jerusalem and to Jerusalem

The first March of the Nations in 2018 on occasion of the 70th anniversary of Israel brought more than 5000 participants from different nations together for a big event. In the following years we went to different cities throughout Israel. On occasion of the 75th anniversary of Israel in 2023 we want to gather in Jerusalem again.

A worldwide movement is gathering

The March of Life movement emerged from repentance and brokenness of the descendents of Nazi perpetrators who were willing to face the history of guilt of their own families and to speak the truth. At the core is the humble request for forgiveness for indifferent silence, antisemitism and hatred of Jews.

What makes the March of the Nations special?

It follows Genesis 12:3 and makes the blessing of Israel its first priority even in times of crisis.

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.“ (Genesis 12:3; NIV)

It calls young people from all nations to join the hike from north to south along the Israel National Tail. The INT is not just a hiking route but has long since become a symbol of national identity.

“Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.” (Genesis 13:17; NIV)

It creates encounters with those who are far off the usual tourist routes and who rarely hear the message of friendship and solidarity: in Metula (border to Libanon), Kfar Saba (Tel Aviv area, border to the West Bank), Netiv ha’asara (border to the Gaza Strip) and Tiberias (Lake of Galilee) .

“He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.” (Psalm 147:14; NIV)

It  is a representative and publicly effective statement of friendship through long-standing contacts with politicians in Israel and a large media coverage.

“I am a friend to all who fear you, to all who follow your precepts.” (Psalm 119:63; NIV)

It enables encounters with Holocaust survivors and their second and third generation descendants. The March of Life has already been honored twice by the Knesset for this encounter work.

“He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come (…) To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.” (Isaiah 61:2-3; NLT)

It unites the commitment and dedication of all the participants who have already taken to the streets in their countries for Israel and against antisemitism in hundreds of Marches. In times of crisis, they come to Israel.

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob.

He will teach us his ways,  so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” (Micah 4:2; NIV)
